This planet was discovered by the Anglo-Australian Planet Search. It is orbiting a star previously known to host one planet. The star also has a stellar companion. After the discovery of the second planet, the reported eccentricity of the first planet changed significantly. This system is an example of how multiple-planet systems can masquerade as moderately eccentric single-planet systems.
